FORMER Colchester United forward Frank Nouble has a new club.
The 31-year-old, who left the U's by mutual consent in March and spent the final weeks of the season at Torquay United, has linked up with the Glovers for the forthcoming 2023-24 campaign.
Nouble, who last week trained with former boss John McGreal's Ipswich Town under-21 side, will be hoping to help Yeovil return to the fifth tier at the first time of asking following their relegation, last season.

Yeovil boss Mark Cooper told the club's webiste: "We’d agreed a deal with Frank last year but it was blocked and that meant we had to sign a different kind of player.

"Frank has always been on my radar, we all saw the difference he made to Torquay.
"He will be a fantastic addition to our changing room and I look forward to working with him."
Nouble made more than 150 appearances for Colchester, during his different spells for the club.

He first joined the U's in the summer of 2018, after leaving their League Two rivals Newport County.
Nouble was an integral part of McGreal’s side, as the U’s finished eighth and sixth before losing to Exeter City in the League Two play-off semi-finals.

Nouble left Colchester to sign for Plymouth Argyle in the summer of 2020, but returned to the U’s on loan in the January 2021 transfer window.
The former West Ham United youngster’s move to Colchester became permanent in the summer of 2021 and he went on to add 50 further appearances for the club, before leaving towards the end of last season.
