Colchester: Smash-and-grabs warning
A senior detective has urged motorists to stop leaving their laptops on show while popping into shops following a spate of smash-and-grab raids on cars. Colchester police's Det Insp Stuart Smith made the plea after thieves stole expensive computer equipment
