Davies told Fleetwood Town FC: "A big part of that was the manager, in terms of how he explained it and hopefully, I can just bring last year's form into this season.
"I've been able to sort of step through levels and score goals wherever I've gone - the goal doesn't move, so hopefully long may it continue."
Davies caught the eye at Southern League Premier Division Central side Leiston, where he scored more than 50 goals in two seasons, earning the Supporters’ Club Player of the Year award.
He joined Braintree before moving to York in November 2023, where he scored five times.
Davies also had a loan spell at Bromley followed, before Davies finished the campaign as the National League’s leading scorer, leading to his move to Sutton.
