BRAINTREE TOWN crashed out of the FA Cup at the third qualifying round stage after losing 3-0 at AFC Hornchurch.

Liam Nash scored twice and Ola Ogunwamide also netted, as the Iron were knocked out by their Pitching In Isthmian League Premier opponents at Bridge Avenue.

 

BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT were also eliminated after they were beaten 2-0 at Needham Market.

 

HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS played out a 2-2 draw at New Salamis FC UK, in Pitching In Isthmian League division north.

Two goals in the space of five minutes from Derek Asamoah and Taufee Skandari gave the hosts a two-goal lead.

However, second-half strikes from Kieran Jones and Ben Sartain secured Swifts a point.

 

Managerless MALDON AND TIPTREE remain bottom of the table after losing 3-0 to Great Wakering Rovers.

 

And WITHAM TOWN were beaten by the same scoreline by high-flying Lowestoft Town, at the Simarco Stadium.

 

In the Essex Senior League, STANWAY ROVERS lost 5-1 at Stansted while FC CLACTON beat HALSTEAD TOWN, 3-2.

Connor Hardy, Rueben Cowler and Mekhi Mckenzie netted for the Seasiders while Alfie Cleal and Jordan Blackwell on target for the Humbugs.

 

Danny Garrad netted the winner for LITTLE OAKLEY in their 1-0 victory over West Essex.

 

In Thurlow Nunn League first division south, STANWAY PEGASUS lost 2-1 at St Margaretsbury, with Booth on target for the visitors.

WIVENHOE TOWN lost 3-1 at home to May and Baker, with Cai Boylan's first-half goal proving only a consolation for the Dragons.

In first division north, HOLLAND FC are third following a 3-1 win over FC Parson Drove.

Harry Harvey, Jordi Papple and Harry Willoughby were on target for the Shrimpers.
