BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT were beaten 3-0 at Haringey Borough in their first game of 2022.
The R's had gone into the Pitching In Isthmian League Premier match in confident mood, after chalking up back-to-back wins.
However, they were comfortably beaten in North London, with goalkeeper Charlie Turner also saving a late penalty to prevent the R's margin of defeat from being greater.
Goals from Ade Cole and Jorge Djassi-Sambu had put Haringey in charge, by the break.
And Andronicos Georgiou added a third from the spot, soon after half-time.
