MICAH Mbick is in the running for the Sky Bet League Two Goal of the Month award for November.
The 19-year-old has been nominated for his superb strike in the U’s 2-0 win over Cheltenham Town, on November 29.

Mbick knew what he wanted to do, which was to find the far top corner.
The trouble was, he had two defenders in front of him. Stepping inside, he waited for just the right moment to let fly and the ball cannoned into the net, off the crossbar.

The on-loan Charlton Athletic youngster is hoping to win the award for the second month running, having scooped the October accolade following his superb goal in the U’s 2-1 win at Grimsby Town.
Mbick is up against Newport County’s Kai Whitmore, Matt Clark of Gillingham and Gillingham’s Bradley Dack for the accolade.

The supporters' votes will be combined with the choices from a panel to determine the winners.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL experts Don Goodman and former U’s midfielder, David Prutton.
