COLCHESTER United will host MK Dons in the FA Cup first round proper.
The U's will entertain their League Two rivals at the JobServe Community Stadium next month, following this evening's draw.
FA Cup first-round games will be played over the weekend of Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2.
Colchester also host MK Dons in League Two, on New Year's Day.
Danny Cowley's side will be aiming to progress further than the first round this season, having been knocked out at that stage by League Two rivals Swindon Town in the last campaign.

Elsewhere in the draw, Chelmsford City of National League South will host their Essex rivals and National League side Braintree Town in the first round.
It will see former Iron boss Angelo Harrop and assistant John White take on their former club in the Essex derby, at Melbourne Park.
Maldon and Tiptree, the lowest ranked club left in the draw, have been handed a trip to play League One side Port Vale.
Selected matches to be televised live either by the BBC or TNT Sports.
The winners of the 40 first-round ties will each receive £45,000 in prize money, with the losing sides getting £15,000.
That prize money will then go up to to £75,000 and £20,000 respectively in the second round, which take places on the weekend of December 6-7.
