PETE Wild was happy to see his Fleetwood Town respond to beat Colchester United after what he described as an 'unacceptable' first-half display.
Town had trailed 2-1 to the U's at half-time having been second best in the first half but roared back after the break to claim victory, at Highbury Stadium.
Fleetwood boss Wild said: “We were really pleased with the reaction and what shows today is the team has got determination, fight and desire – everything you need to be in this league.

“They’ve shown that in abundance in the second half.
"It's been interesting week, with some home truths from us to the players, the players to us.
“We didn’t think the performance was bad down at Cambridge but we thought we could all do more and that’s been the challenge, this week.
“The first half was not acceptable – it was rubbish and it's not good enough, the first half.
“We didn’t defend properly, we didn’t pass the ball properly and we were very lucky to only be 2-1 down at half-time, I think that’s fair to say.
“We went back to a 3-5-2 second half because we wanted to go and press them high and get after them.
"I've been critical of them pressing high and whether they could press high or not but they did it to a tee.
“They went out and pressed high and pinned Colchester in for long periods of the second half and we turned the ball over, created lots of attacks and scored some really good, well-worked goals and got into areas that we wanted to get into all season.
"As a 45 minutes, I think it was the best that we've played all season in terms of with the ball.
"I'm pleased with the reaction and what shows today is that the group has got determination, fight, desire - everything that you need in this league.

"A contrasting game - some people would say I defend our team too much at times - I'm the manager and that's my job, to defend the players."
Fleetwood fell behind twice against Colchester to claim victory, in contrast to their 2-1 defeat at Cambridge United the previous week where they went ahead but lost.
"You know, 75 per cent of the teams who score first in this league generally get a positive result," added former Barrow boss Wild.
"I've been on the other end of that last week and to be on the right end of that this week is really pleasing.
"It shows that we're not done, that we can come from behind and keep pushing and pushing.
"We got our forward players in good areas, they started getting shots away and balls in front of people, to hit players' strengths and that's probably the group trying to understand each other and where their best bits are.
"I think that comes over time and we're only ten games in.
"When players start to play to each other's strengths and we start to pass the ball and get our threatening players into good areas, that's when it shows what we can do."
