COLCHESTER United claimed a thrilling 3-2 win at Crawley Town on Saturday afternoon to boost their hopes of staying in League Two.
Two goals from Tom Hopper and Cameron McGeehan's strike helped the U's to three precious points at Broadfield Stadium, lifting them out of the relegation zone by one point with four games remaining.
Nearly 1,000 Colchester fans made the trip to West Sussex to cheer on their team - here's some reaction from supporters after a vital win.

Best 90 minutes under the Cowley's. Looked dangerous everytime we went forward and defended well when we had to. Score a lot closer than it should have been but a HUGE 3 points. Hopper and Mingi outstanding, Chilvers best game for months and Hornby offered a safe pair of hands.
Steve Duckling
A long overdue result & so deserved too after some unlucky results that we’ve deserved more from. Very strange decisions that went against us today. Their goal looked well offside & as for Hopper’s hatrick, the officials dreamed up an infringement to disallow that. 965 fans Wow!
Stuart Garrard
Simply. HUGE.
Duncan Stonehouse
Massive 3 points despite the officials doing their best to ruin our day! Superb turn out, great vocal backing. Chilvers had his best game of the season, Hopper will deservedly get all the plaudits for his 3, sorry, 2 goals but Noah deserves some praise after a tough season
Andy Totham
Great display. Chilvers Smith Hopper Hornby v good. Tovide needs to grow up
Shane Almond
Huge win! We need to keep doing what we did today. This fight isn't over. Let's fight til the last U's! I will be there in S1 like I normally am so let's get the place rocking Tuesday and get another vital 3 points. Up The U's
Anthony Clachan
All i can say is a massive massive win which was badly needed up the U's!
Mike Wootton
Any confirmation on the Tovide red card / the scuffle between the dugouts and the tunnel after would be appreciated. Fantastic result and performance though. Great set of balls on Cowleys for the GK swap. Shame Hopper not credited for a legitimate hat trick.
Michael O'Brien
Hopper outstanding and deserved a third. Great team performance- Mingi and McGeehan class, Hall and Chilvers much improved. Don’t know what Tovide was playing at, although he has been poor since he came back and looks unfit. Brave call in dropping Goodman. We fight on!
Si Collinson
What a game of football. Did everything right. All on the same page and got the job done. Shout out to Tom Hopper, got his reward for all his hard work this season. Should have had a third of it wasn’t for a bizarre decision to disallow it. In our hands now, safety here we come.
Georgina Davies
Fantastic display from the boys, pity the ref and linesman couldn't keep up with play. Their first goal was offside and there was nothing wrong with Hoppers third goal. Well done to us 965 fan's that travelled, onto Tuesday
Luke Fordham
Don’t care what records say, Tom Hopper got his hat trick today
Chris Cooper
Awful officials, superb win, up the U’s
Daniel Battersby
A day we took our chances and got the right result. Hopper robbed of a hatrick. Bring on Tuesday. Up the U's

Lots of fight in the team today. Everyone was up for it for the full 90 mins. The refereeing was very poor again, some very strange decisions which could of swayed the entire match! I would say that Mingi had a great game, maybe a new career as a defender!
Mathew Parks
Incredible win today! The team showed up big time. Still scratching my head over Hopper's disallowed third goal.
Louise Harris
After missing out on the last two games we got the deserved win today, the whole team were amazing & played for their lives. So happy for Tom Hopper, he should have had the hat trick. The fans, WOW, what a noise, the support today was incredible!! Up the U’s
David Clayton
Outstanding team performance. Fully deserved win. Great to see Chilvers playing with confidence again. Can never say that Hopper doesn’t give his all, deserves his moment. Iandolo, Smith, McGeehan all superb. Vital to maintain performance levels into the Grimsby game.
Allen Smith
What a turn out brilliant game. We took our chances and deserved the win
