COLCHESTER United played out a seventh 1-1 draw in their last 12 matches after sharing the spoils with Tranmere Rovers.

Alistair Smith's excellent eighth-minute strike cancelled out Kieron Morris's opener for the hosts, with both goals coming in the space of a minute.

A total of 167 U's fans were at Prenton Park on Easter Monday to see their side in action and here they have their say on their side's performance and result.

Another battling performance but no cutting edge. Had to take 1 of the 3 chances before half time. With the other results, it's going to the wire. I'm not sure draw are any good now.

A very good solid performance from @ColU_Official and a pretty good Easter with 4 points. Our destiny is still firmly in our hands. 7 cup finals to come and crucially 5 at home. Keep the faith.

Sutton and FGR are putting in do or die performances to win games, we are doing better, but with no real goal scorer, it's going to be a real challenge to survive. The games in hand we have aren't easy and draws may not be enough.

I'm really starting to get nervous... not many games left. It's literally do or die every one of the remaining games of the season. I will be there Saturday but I'm starting to get really nervous. Still win lose draw, I'm Col U til I die

Would have taken that result. McGeehan outstanding. Still lacking anything whatsoever up front. Brad was poor and Hopper was his usual self. FGR and Sutton winning not helpful. If only we hadn’t dropped so many points against them….

Decent point on the road, but annoyingly teams around us are al suddenly able to play football and get points. Think it will go to the wire and hinge on the Grimsby game at home.
