COLCHESTER United had to settle for a point after they drew 1-1 with Accrington Stanley, on Saturday afternoon.
A Riley Harbottle own goal denied the U's victory against ten men, after Noah Chilvers had put the hosts ahead with a fine individual goal.
The draw leaves Colchester seven points clear of the League Two relegation zone, with 14 games to go.
