COLCHESTER United drew 3-3 with Forest Green Rovers, on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Alistair Smith, Jayden Fevrier and Harry Anderson saw the U's claim a point against League Two's bottom team, who had led 2-0 after strikes from Matty Stevens and Christian Dodige.

Dominic Thompson's long-range effort denied Colchester victory, keeping them seven points above the relegation zone.

U's fans have their say after their side extended their unbeaten run to four matches under Danny Cowley, at the JobServe Community Stadium.

Second half a much better display, we show a lot of threat when it comes to scoring we just didn't do it enough in the first half. Top class comeback from 2-0 down, but it fell on Goodmans off day who had the inability to catch a ball today and through away a 6 pointer

2 months ago if we went 2-0 down then it would of been game over but to come back and lead (briefly) is a massive step in the right direction, one point will always be better than none

Got to be happy with a point after that 1st half but we’ll keep finding ourselves in that situation if we continue to play with zero tempo at home. Pleased to hear DC saying the same after the match. Smith again excellent.

After that second goal went in I feared the worse, but fair play the halftime team talk had an affect and we fought back and looked likely to win. Disappointing to concede the third, but shows a turn around of character that we didn’t roll over and given. Work to do, but better.

The scenes, noise atmosphere and buzz around the stadium for 2-2 and then 3-2 was a bit special; Cowleys are doing wonders at #colu

Chalk and cheese first and second half. I thought second half we came out with more purpose and effort. Just need to start a lot quicker in games. To come back from 2 down again shows loads of character. The Cowleys revolution continues.

Terrible 1st half cost us dearly. Didn't move the ball quickly & Chilvers had a mare. Much better 2nd half & did well to get the lead, but threw it away literally... FGR 3rd goal saw our momentum lost, and we never really looked like scoring. Need to be better in the final third

Once again a very slow first half, going down 2-0. The fans didn't want to come back out for the 2nd half. The 3 goal comeback was a great experience and it was a shame that we couldn't end the game with a win. Both teams were happy with a 3-3 draw after such an up and down game

A game of two half’s first seemed half asleep. enjoyed Second half just a shame we could not hold on for the win

Take a draw after being 2-0 down, but frustrating to lose that lead through an error. Smith and Anderson very good today, and Akinde has a good cameo off the bench imo

Adam

Sloppy first half, didn't look like they wanted to fight at all, but since we scored the first goal, everything changed, should've done better with the goals we conceded but need to be more positive on the ball. Great atmosphere when it's going and great to score 3 in 5 minutes

Would have taken a draw at half time, yet somehow disappointed at full time. More positives than negatives overall I think.

Very poor first half. Still not sure about Hopper and Chilvers I’m afraid. Every time FG came forward had me worried because defense looked nervous. Both keepers poor today, best keepers are playing for the division top spots. Good come back though.

Not gonna lie. That was a hell of a roller coaster. 2 down then come back to 3-2 up, only for that freak equaliser... what I will say though is ##DannyCowleysBlueWhiteArmy never stop fighting and this showed that! Disappointed but will take a point. #UpTheUs

We are actually the worst team. Everyone who thought this manager would do anything is just silly. One win! If this was Etherington? Disgusting performance again, lucky last week as they missed the pen

Getting there, albeit slowly and not without issue. Unfortunate for Goodman as he has had some good games recently. Chilvers yet again disappointing but a great comeback. In recent years we were seemingly incapable of mounting a second half comeback
