IPSWICH Town youngster Harry Barbrook has made his Braintree Town debut after joining the National League South side on loan.

The 18-year-old defender, who has arrived at Cressing Road on a month's loan from the Championship side, made his debut in Iron's 3-0 defeat at Slough Town, on Saturday.

He has linked up with fellow Town player Matt Ward, who signed for Braintree earlier this month.

Barbrook has been at Ipswich since he was six years old.

He signed his first professional contract at Portman Road in March this year along with his twin brother, Finley.

Barbook has been a regular for Ipswich's under-21 side this season and skippered the team in their 1-1 draw with Millwall last week.
