COLCHESTER-born striker Ben Morris has joined SL Championship side Detroit City - where he will play under a former U's coach.
Morris, 23, has left Ipswich Town and joined Detroit for the 2023 season.
His contract was set to expire in the summer but the League One side have agreed to terminate it six months earlier, in order for the forward to explore an opportunity within the second tier of football in the United States.
