BRADLEY Ihionvien scored twice for Colchester United's under-18s in their 4-3 win over Leyton Orient at Florence Park, writes BRIAN WALLER.

Liam Bailey's side fell behind after seven minutes when the visitors broke away after a quick throw by the keeper and the ball was squared to the centre and duly converted.

Colchester keeper Endurance Johnson made a very good save and a header looped over the bar, as the O's threatened to double their lead.

Johnson bravely dived on the ball and soon after, the U's keeper’s attempted clearance struck the Orient striker but luckily rebounded well wide.

But Colchester fell further behind seven minutes before half-time when an Orient player cut in from the right and the shot found the far corner.

Jaiden Drakes-Thomas fired just over the bar for Colchester from T’aizo Marcel-Dilaver’s cut back but the hosts went in trailing 2-0, at the break.

U's substitute keeper Jaime Tedaldi did well to catch a swerving long-range drive, early in the second half.

But Colchester pulled a goal back five minutes after the break through Kaan Bennett, who broke clear and scored after the hosts capitalised on an O’s error.

Tedaldi made a good save soon after while at the other end, Bennett's low shot was smothered by the Orient keeper.

Tedaldi made another excellent save while at the other end, Bennett headed into the side netting before the contest took a dramatic change, as the U’s scored twice in two minutes.

Ihionvien equalised for Colchester with 16 minutes remaining when he crashed a powerful left foot drive into the net, on the edge of the box.

And two minutes later, Ihionvien rose to head home Price's high ball into the box to give the U's the lead.

But the lead did not last long - Orient broke down the right and a ball into the box saw a player find space to equalise, with seven minutes left.

But in the second minute of stoppage time, Colchester broke down the left and Jaiden Drakes-Thomas found the far corner of the net to bag the U's very late winner.
