COLCHESTER United played out a 1-1 draw with Rochdale, on Tuesday night.

Alan Judge gave the U's the lead with a wonder goal, just after half-time.

But Dale hit back through Conor Grant's equaliser with 14 minutes remaining, to salvage a point.

Colchester fans have their say on the League Two draw, at the JobServe Community Stadium.

From the euphoria of a 1-1 draw Saturday feeling like a win this was more of a deflating draw, 2 points dropped against a poor side. Tactics went out the window once Skuse & Akinde went off, we just gave the ball away for 20 mins and got deeper and deeper. Great goal from Judge.

Would have taken that result two weeks ago but seems disappointing now. Great goal by judge and we should have finished it off after that. First half saw too many disjointed long balls and it felt like the team had t really played together that much. Next two matches are harder.

Frustrating. Improved in 1st half after we stopped trying to hit it long. 2nd half looked much better until the subs which killed our momentum. Poor goal to concede with Junior not tracking & Brendan ballwatching. Right side looks vulnerable to attack but team a work in progress

Two points dropped which in ways I’m happy to say as a few weeks back it would be 3 points lost. We didn’t play awfully but we didn’t play fantastic and we were punished when our players were worn out by 70. A point gained could’ve been three but the new players need some time

Two poor teams, never really got going, have to win these games. It never seemed like we had a proper tactic on how to play once Akinde went off

Not the best of games to watch but a draw isn’t the end of the world. Poor defending for the goal we conceded but hopefully we move on from that and move onto Saturday.

We were controlling the game for 70mins, Couple of missed chances to finish the game off. Lost the plot when Skuse went off. Pumping the ball forward every time is not the answer every time.

Point gained on Saturday, two lost today. Poor team Rochdale and we should be winning these games. Structure of the team looked odd and I’ll get slated for this but we missed Hannant to give us balance. Everything looked too bunched in the middle.

Need to win games like that. Understand players are tired but the style needs to change if the replacements don't suit it. Also, have to stop sitting off average teams at home, letting them play &gain confidence. Eastman & Dallison excellent.

It was a scrappy game until Judges worldy! And after that for 10-15 minutes we should have doubled our lead and played some great stuff but after that we look shattered and dropped deeper and deeper and the equaliser was always coming. 2 points dropped but we are slowly improving
