COLCHESTER United booked their place in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals in memorable fashion.
The U's sealed their place in the last eight of the League Cup for the first time in 45 years with a 3-1 win at League Two rivals, Crawley Town.
Goals from Luke Norris, Luke Gambin and an own goal from Michael Luyambula gave John McGreal's side a superb victory in the last-16 tie, after veteran Dannie Bulman had given the hosts the lead.
Colchester's win sparked jubilant scenes in the away end at the Broadfield Stadium, as more than 1,700 of the club's fans celebrated a historic success for the club.
Photographer Richard Blaxall was on hand to capture all of the action, on a night that will live long in the memory of U's fans.
