Good morning, U's fans!
Colchester United played out a second successive 1-1 draw at the weekend, after claiming a point at bottom club Sutton United.
It was the U's fifth draw in their first seven matches, under Danny Cowley.
Colchester went ahead in the seventh minute through Cameron McGeehan's well-worked goal.
But Charlie Lakin equalised for Sutton 11 minutes later and Colchester had goalkeeper Owen Goodman to thank for his 80th minute penalty save from Harry Smith, as they came away with a point.
The result leaves Colchester five points above the League Two relegation zone, with 13 games remaining.
The U's next game is a trip to play Salford City, who suffered a heavy defeat at new League Two leaders Mansfield Town, at the weekend.
