COLCHESTER United have announced that their home clash with Grimsby Town next season will now take place on a Friday night.
The two clubs have agreed that the fixture at the JobServe Community Stadium will be played under the lights on Friday, March 28 having originally been scheduled for Saturday, March 29.

Grimsby say thee decision has been made to allow their squad an extra day’s recovery ahead of their visit to Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday, April 1 2025.
The Mariners have apologised for any inconvenience this may cause supporters.
This fixture rearrangement is in addition to any potential changes made by Sky Sports, as part of their new deal to broadcast Sky Bet EFL fixtures.
