ANGELO Harrop says he is 'over the moon' to have committed his future to Braintree Town and lead them into the National League.

The Iron have announced that Harrop will remain as manager for a third successive year, ahead of their 2024-25 campaign in the fifth tier.

Harrop, who guided Braintree to promotion from the National League South following their play-off final win over Worthing earlier this month, will remain at the Rare Breed Meat Co. Stadium for the forthcoming season.

Writing on social media, Harrop said: 'Over the moon to be leading this great club in the national league ⁦‪@braintreetownfc‬⁩ , going to be a big challenge for the football club but one I look forward to embracing'.

 

Harrop and chairman Lee Harding have been busy organising the club's pre-season schedule.

The friendly games agreed to date are as follows: Tuesday July 9 v Needham Market away (7.45pm); Saturday July 13 TBA; Tuesday July 16 TBA; Saturday July 20 Hornchurch away (3pm); Friday July 26 Cambridge United home (7.45pm); Tuesday July 30 Bromley home (7pm).

Braintree have agreed their match day and season tickets pricing for next season.

Iron season ticket holders who buy on or before June 1 2024 will be rewarded with five games free of charge, while an under-18 season tickets offers 16 free games.

 

Braintree have extended their new initiative for season tickets for their young supporters under 12 who are provided with entry for just £40.

Adult and concession season tickets will allow supporters to sit or stand anywhere they choose in the stadium.

Early bird discounts are offered for season tickets bought on or before Saturday June 1, 2024.
