DO you want to test out all the food, drinks, arcades, games and more at Colchester’s newest entertainment centre… and win a year of free bowling?

This might be the job for you.

Bosses at the new multi-million-pound Hollywood Bowl site, coming to Colchester next month as part of the ongoing Northern Gateway project, are looking for someone to come and test all aspects of the new centre for “optimum fun levels”.

The company is looking to appoint three “directors of fun” and is inviting all bowling enthusiasts to apply for the exciting role.

The unusual job description includes testing the fun levels of everything in the new centre to check it meets the highest standard and offers the most possible fun for local people to enjoy.

This will start with testing the state-of-the-art bowling lanes and mini golf courses with their high-tech scoring systems, then enjoying the American-style bar and diner.

The directors will get to try samples of all the delicious food and drinks, including American classics such as hot dogs, burgers, shakes and signature cocktails.

There will then be time for even more fun in the amusement arcade, trying out leading games such as Mario Kart, as well as all-time family favourites including air hockey and racing games.

The three successful candidates to be chosen can each bring a friend or family member with them for the experience.

The successful candidates will also receive one year of complimentary VIP bowling, enabling them to carry out this important role throughout the year, ensuring the experience is always fun for all.
