WORKERS have broken ground on a huge new £5.5million entertainment centre at a new leisure complex in Colchester.

Bowling fans can look forward to exciting ten-pin action as the Hollywood Bowl Group has started work on its new site at Northern Gateway.

The brand will be giving visitors a taste of modern LA when it opens its doors for the first time later this year.

The complex is set to feature 27 ten-pin bowling lanes split over two floors, including four luxurious VIP lanes and two mini golf courses.
