DAVE Challinor admits Colchester United will be a tough place for his promotion-chasing Stockport County side to visit ahead of their trip to the JobServe Community Stadium tomorrow.

But the Hatters boss says their sole aim will be to return to Cheshire with three valuable points, as they bid to get back to winning ways.

Stockport lie second in the League Two table, having failed to win any of their last four matches and only scoring once in that time.

But they are only off the top of the table on goal difference after an impressive campaign so far and boss Challinor knows they must get back to winning ways.

Challinor told the Stockport County YouTube channel: "We know where their strengths are.

"They've brought players in, they've changed a little bit.

"They were, I suppose, free in terms of their system, over the course of the (Salford) game.

"They played three or four different systems, trying to chase the game and trying to get themselves back into the game.

Gazette:

"It's a tough place to go, it's a long way to go but for us, it's about winning.

"We face three away games in the next four and the same prize is on offer for all of them.

"Our sole aim is to make sure we get things right, in order to go to Colchester and get three points and then back that up with our next performance.

"That's what we've got to do, between now and the end of the season and we'll be doing our best to make it happen."

Stockport ran out 2-0 winners over Colchester when the two sides met at Edgeley Park, earlier this season.

Goals either side of half-time from Kyle Wootton and Callum Camps sealed the Hatters' win.
