AN American fast-food chain in Colchester has revealed plans to stay open late into the early hours of the morning.

Wendy’s, at the Northern Gateway Leisure Park, is hoping to provide "late night refreshment” seven days a week after applying a premises licence.

If Colchester Council approves the restaurant’s application, Wendy’s will be able to provide the service between 11pm and 2am, Monday to Sunday.
