COLCHESTER United have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Hakeem Sandah for their under-21 squad.
The 18-year-old, who has been on trial with the U's for the past threeย months, has penned a deal that will keep him at Florence Park until the summer of 2025.
Sandah was released by Huddersfield at the end of last season having spent two years in the Terriers' youth set-up, after joining them from the Spurs academy in 2021.

The talented teenager, who started in Chelsea's academy,ย had a trial with Blackburn Rovers, lastย year.
Sandah told Col U TV: โIโm thankful itโs all done and itโs all finished.
โItโs finally over the line and Iโm just ready to kick on and get started.
"Now I have to make sure that my place is there in the U21s and knock on the First Team door and try to get opportunities there.โ
Sandah, who played in Colchester under-21s'ย 4-1 defeat at Chelseaย in the Premier League Cup earlier this week, is hoping to feature again tonight when the U's youngsters take on their Ipswich Town counterparts at Maldon and Tiptree (kick-off 7pm).
