ROADWORKS will see a busy Colchester route close over the course of three days next week.
East Street, which suffered from a traffic light signalling failure on Monday after a BMW crashed into a pedestrian crossing, will be closed from 11pm on Monday, March 20.
The road will then undergo roadworks all day Tuesday, and the road will re-open at 6am on Wednesday, March 22.
East Street underwent major resurfacing works in 2021, and had previously been named by Gazette readers as one of the most potholed roads in the city.
