A FUN-FILLED lineup for the return of the Sausage and Cider Festival has been announced.

The iconic festival held in Colchester’s Lower Castle Park will be back for more boozing and feasting this summer on July 15.

The historic site will host a large outdoor stage for an array of live entertainment, multiple food vendors and more than 50 metres of bars.

Punters will be offered a unique selection of more than 25 craft cider flavours, including rhubarb, cherry bakewell, chocolate and pineapple.

There will also be a wide range of more than 12 sausage flavours to try on the day.

And on stage will be tributes to legendary bands Oasis and Abba, as well as Robbie Williams, Stereophonics and Queen.

DJ Pandar and singer-songwriter Daren Poyzer will also fill the airwaves during the unique occasion in the city centre.

Event marketing manager Lee Fudge said demand is high for tickets, with each sale so far selling out and just one more batch to be released.

“The Sausage and Cider Festival outdoors is a feel-good event with great music, a huge variety of cider flavors and great independent food operators,” he said.

“We are excited to be able to host our outside event in Colchester again.”
