FORMER Colchester United winger Tyreik Wright has left Aston Villa and signed for League One leaders Plymouth Argyle.
The 21-year-old, who made 12 appearances for the U's under Wayne Brown in the 2021-22 campaign, scoring once, had been on loan at League Two side Bradford City from Villa.
But the Republic of Ireland under-21 international has now quit the Premier League club and joined the Pilgrims, for an undisclosed fee.

Plymouth boss Steven Schumacher told the club's website: "Tyreik is another very talented youngster that we are delighted has signed for Argyle. He is an exciting player who enjoys taking people on and will get the Green Army off their seats.
“He has explosive power, really good ability, and hopefully is going to be a very good player for us. He will offer an option for us in various different positions, as he is very versatile.
