Thief stole £4,000 of alcohol from Pavilion during brazen raid
A THIEF who stole £4,000 worth of alcohol from a popular Colchester restaurant has been ordered to repay just £200.
Mia Penny, 23, snatched the goods from Pavilion, in Middleborough, on August 11 when trespassing on the property.
She admitted the offence at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.

Penny, of Gainsborough Road, Colchester, was ordered to undertake six months of a drug rehabilitation programme and must take part in a separate programme for 12 days.
She must also take part in a further activity with the probation service for 40 days and pay £364 in a fine, surcharge and compensation.
