COLCHESTER United have today unveiled their season ticket prices for the 2022-23 campaign - with fans able to secure their own seat once again.
The cheapest price of an adult season ticket to watch the U's at the JobServe Community Stadium next season is £325 in the South Stand, providing it is purchased within the Early Bird period which runs until July 17.
The most expensive adult season ticket for Colchester next season is £442, which secures a seat in either W4 and 6 (West Stand) or E5 (East Stand).
Early bird concession prices for U's season tickets range from £228 (South Stand) to £355 in either the West Stand or East Stand.
Children aged under the age of 14 can get their season ticket for £77.50 in the East Stand Family Enclosure, while under-11s can once again watch every Colchester home league game for free.
Any U's supporter who had a season ticket for the 2019/20 season will have their original seat held for them to purchase online for the first seven days of sales.
Colchester fans have been prevented from buying a seat in their historic section of the stadium since 2019, due to the introduction of Covid restrictions within the venue.
However, they will now be able to sit in their favoured seats once again.
Season tickets will go on sale during the week commencing June 27, with the U's stating they have comprehensively reworked their ticketing software.
Writing on the U's website following today's announcement of prices, club chairman and owner Robbie Cowling said they have tried hard to keep prices down.
He said: "I’m very pleased to introduce the 2022/23 ticket brochure which I hope is met with everyone’s approval.
"I also hope we can all get behind Wayne and the team this forthcoming season.
"We have tried our hardest to keep prices down and we appreciate that everyone’s purse strings are getting stretched in all directions.
"I’m expecting us to be involved in a very competitive League Two campaign this season and I truly believe that we can start this campaign with the positive form and results that we finished the last one.
"Those of you that had season tickets when the 2019/20 season was curtailed will, for a limited time, be able to purchase the same seat you held at that time.
"We have been busy re-writing the ticketing system, which is being launched at the start of July.
"I appreciate that is very close to the start of the new campaign which is starting a week earlier than normal due to the World Cup schedule.
"For the new system, we have introduced a new monthly payment scheme to replace the annual subscriptions and we have also added a new dashboard to the website with some new features that will provide greater control and allow you to do more to manage your own tickets.

Colchester say that Early Bird prices will be available until July 17, which is the day the club hold their Open Day.
U's supporters can also take advantage of monthly payments to spread the cost of their Season Ticket.
Physical Season Ticket Cards can be collected first at the Open Day, or posted out if required, and Privilege Card and Gift Card funds can be used towards purchases.
