SHAMAL George scooped Colchester United's Official Player of the Year accolade as the club held their End of Season awards.
The U's goalkeeper received his trophy after the club's 2-2 draw with Walsall in their final home game of the campaign at the JobServe Community Stadium, this afternoon.
George, who has made 32 appearances for Colchester this season, was voted Colchester's 2021-22 Player of the Year by fans.
The 24-year-old former Liverpool keeper also landed the CUSA Home Player of the Year award, with Brendan Wiredu voted the CUSA Away Player of the Year.
Noah Chilvers won the Colchester United Young Player of the Year, while midfielder Cole Skuse was the U's Players' Player of the Year.
Junior Tchamadeu won the Goal of the Season award for the teenager's wonderful stoppage-time strike in the 1-0 win over Tranmere Rovers, last month.
Midfielder Chilvers was Colchester's Hospital Radio Player of the Year.
