A CAMPAIGN to make nights out safer for students has been spreading its message.

One Colchester Partnership is continuing to share its #SeeYouSafer campaign with hundreds of students.

The multi-partnership campaign is aimed at helping people to feel safer during nights out in Colchester.

Representatives from #SeeYouSafer engaged with students at Colchester Institute and helped them to plan ahead to make their nights safer.

Vice Principal of student services and support at the college Maeve Borges said: “At Colchester Institute we are delighted to play a part in promoting the #SeeYouSafer campaign on campus.

“Our students benefit from the great opportunities which Colchester provides for studying and socialising, but it is also important to know that practical advice and support is available, with the #SeeYouSafer campaign making a vital contribution.”

Tomorrow, the campaign moves to Colchester Sixth Form College.
