REPAIRS to one of Colchester's most potholed streets have been postponed until further noticed.
East Bridge, in East Street, was set to close over the weekend just gone for resurfacing works.
However, Essex Highways has now confirmed the repairs have been delayed until a future date, which has yet to be announced.
A spokesman for Essex Highways said: "Due to circumstances beyond our control, the surfacing works due to take place on East Bridge have regrettably been postponed until further notice.
"We are working with the contractor to reschedule the works as soon as possible and will provide an update when we are in a position to confirm new dates."
