COLCHESTER cyclist Crystal Lane-Wright has won a silver medal at the Paralympics.

She finished second in the C5 3,000m individual pursuit in Tokyo, behind winner Dame Sarah Storey.

It is Lane-Wright's second silver medal at consecutive Games in the event.

Dame Sarah put in another world record-breaking performance on her way to claiming her 15th Paralympic title - Britain's first gold of Tokyo 2020.

She retained her C5 3,000m individual pursuit crown, after beating her own world best in qualifying.

The 43-year-old is just one behind Mike Kenny's British record of 16 golds.
