FORMER Colchester United defender Danny Collinge has signed for National League side Dover Athletic.
The 23-year-old, who had been training with League One side MK Dons this summer, has joined Dover having impressed on trial at Crabble.
Collinge joined Colchester on a two-year contract in the summer of 2019.
The England youth international joined the U's on a permanent basis, having featured for their under-23 side towards the end of the 2018-19 season.
He had loan spells with Maldon and Tiptree and AFC Sudbury, during his time at Colchester.

Collinge also played regularly for the under-23s and spent time with the U's first-team squad last summer, following Steve Ball's appointment as head coach.
However, Collinge did not make a senior appearance for Colchester during his spell at the JobServe Community Stadium.
Collinge, who has previously played for German club VfB Stuttgart in Bundesliga II, started out at the Dons and has represented England at under-18 level.
He has made 32 England Youth appearances and played in both the under-17 European Championship and under-17 World Cup.
He featured in the same England under-17 and under-18 teams as the likes of Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold and Tom Davies, of Everton.
The centre-back returned to England after a five-year spell in Germany playing for VfB Stuttgart.
He came through the ranks at MK Dons before moving to Germany to broaden his football and academic education.
