Traffic map shows huge queues building across Colchester town centre
There are long delays for drivers in Colchester town centre this afternoon.
Drivers are facing big queues along many roads in and around the town centre including Cowdray Avenue, Balkerne Hill and the A134.
Colne Bank Avenue towards the town centre is also blocked.
One residents said the town centre was "gridlocked".

There have not been any crashes in the town reported by Essex Travel News, which is run by Essex County Council.
