FORMER captain Brian Ruffle was an impressive winner of Playgolf Colchester's Senior Huggins Putter Trophy.
The club's oldest member carded an excellent 37 points to win the stableford format.
Steve Turner returned to form to take runners-up spot from Paul Woods, who was third.
This week’s sleeve of balls for par three birdies saw two winners, with Turner and Len Cole taking a sleeve each.

Kyung Cho beat Maria Stallwood on countback for third place, after both players carded 30 points.
Shirley Birkin won division two with 33 points, while second and third place needed countback to separate three players on 29 points.
Maureen Dale was runners-up from third-placed Janet Blackmore with Pauline Jordan taking fourth place.
