Colchester United will finally go head-to-head with rivals Norwich City in London next week over the controversial departure of former manager Paul Lambert.

After months of prolonged dispute between the two Coca-Cola League One rivals, a Football League disciplinary tribunal will examine the U’s case for compensation over the departure of Lambert, along with his assistants Ian Culverhouse and Gary Karsa, to Carrow Road last August.

A two-day hearing will begin on Monday, after which a final judgement is set to be reached.
