Stoke by Nayland Golf Club’s ladies’ section defied the weather to battle it out in a stableford competition.
Suzanne Shaw-Smith fared best in the wet conditions to win with a score of 37 points, earning a handicap cut to 16.
Jude Hanner finished as runner-up with 29 points, while Tracey Dickens was third with 28 points.
A total of 16 ladies took part in the event on the Constable course.
And this was preceded by a champagne breakfast with the ladies’ captain, Roz Clements.
