COLCHESTER United boss Joe Dunne is prepared to carry the can for his side’s current malaise.
And he says any disgruntled supporters with an axe to grind should vent their frustrations at him - not his players.
The U’s have lost their last four games and only goal difference is keeping them hovering precariously above the relegation zone.
There was criticism following Saturday’s 2-1 League One defeat against fellow strugglers Tranmere Rovers.
But Dunne says his shoulders are broad enough to take any flack and wants supporters to stay firmly behind his team.
“I take defeats very personally but I also take full responsibility, as manager,” said the Irishman."
