HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS recent rejuvenation came to and end with a 2-0 home defeat to Hastings in the Ryman League premier division.
Both sides had booked their place in the next round of the FA Trophy last week, but it was Hastings who showed the greater application to the league fixture.
