Dragons suffer only their second league defeat of the season
WIVENHOE TOWN suffered only their second Thurlow Nunn League defeat of the season after going down 2-0 at Ely City tonight.
Both goals came in the first half, in the top-of-the-table first division contest.
Wivenhoe's only other league defeat came at the hands of Braintree Town Reserves, at the Maple Tree Cars Stadium.
Mo Osman's side have already secured a top-three promotion spot and, with a clear lead at the top of the table, they still look odds-on to win the title, despite tonight's disappointment.
