Heybridge Swifts gathered another valuable point in their battle to move away from the relegation places.
Swifts battled back to a 1-1 Ryman League division north draw against relegation rivals Romford.
Both sides now sit on 35 points, six above the drop zone, with Romford one place above Swifts in 19th place due to goal difference.
Romford made a quick start to the game, taking the lead in the first minute through Nick Reynolds to go 1-0 up.
After the break, Romford were reduced to ten men when Ade Cole was sent off with a straight red on 75 minutes.
But Swifts also went down to ten men four minutes later when George Doyle got his marching orders after picking up a second yellow card.
However, on 85 minutes Swifts equalised through Jack Smith.
Brightlingsea Regent were held to a draw at Haringey Borough.
The home side broke the deadlock on 30 minutes when Nana Asamoah struck to make it 1-0 at Coles Park.
But eight minutes later Brightlingsea were level through Kieron Baker.
However, Russell Malton put Regent in front on 77 minutes.
But Haringey restored parity when Jorge Sambu scored on 80 minutes to take a share of the spoils.
