Joe Dunne has insisted Colchester United must focus on their only plight in their battle to beat the drop.
The U’s boosted their chances of avoiding relegation with an impressive 2-0 win over Yeovil Town.
The win took them to within a point of safety in League One.
But Scunthorpe United, Bury and Hartlepool United all won too last night, leaving it all to play for near the bottom.
Dunne said: “We just have to keep focusing on ourselves.
“If you get worked up when you see other teams around you get results, it can get you down.
“We just have to keep taking care of ourselves and the fact that we won makes it more important.
“If we hadn’t have won then other teams would have gained an advantage.
“So it’s as you were - it’s another game chalked off and we worry about ourselves.”
