Porter feels wanted at the U's

George Porter believes being a regular starter for Colchester United over recent weeks is helping him capture his best form.
Porter was impressive in helping the U’s claim a 1-0 win over Preston North End.
The on-loan Burnley winger walked away from the Weston Homes Community Stadium with the man-of-the-match champagne.
And having started Colchester’s last three games Porter says he is relishing playing regular football, having been starved of match action at Turf Moor prior to his January move to the U’s.
Porter said: “I feel like I’m benefiting from a run in the team.
“I’m really happy with the way things are going and the way the team is playing.
“Last year, I was coming off the bench and being an impact sub.
“But the gaffer here has given me a chance and I’m playing consistently, so things are going well for me."

He is what we have been missing on the wing, flair, industry, commitment and discipline.

He helps to control the defence, fills in their positions when they are loose, he also has a vision to see players on the run and pass it to them. He is the voice you hear shouting at the players. Since he has been in the performance has been a lot stronger. However I agree about your comments about George.
The lad is class and has certainly made an impact in the last three games(unlike David Wright) maybe a possible signing in the offing?
