Dunne - we deserved more
Colchester United manager Joe Dunne felt defeat was harsh on his side after they were edged out by Swindon Town.
The U’s were beaten 1-0 by the promotion-chasing Robins, with James Collins’ goal early in the second half enough to separate the two sides in the League One clash.
Dunne said: “I don’t agree that it was the right result.
“It was a scrappy game but I thought that we were well in it and that we matched them.
“Overall, we're disappointed that we didn't come away with more.
“We switched off for a moment from a throw in and it cost us - we need everybody concentrating for us and we didn't at that moment.
“After that, they made it very difficult for us.
“If you’re going to lose, you have to lose coming off the pitch knowing that you’ve given it a right good go and I thought that we did that.
“I’m not happy with the goal that we conceded and the fact that it came off our set play.
“We have a routine for stopping attacks from throw ins and we didn’t execute it, which is very annoying."
