Colchester United are yet to receive any firm bids for Anthony Wordsworth in the transfer window.
Reports have linked Championship club Charlton Athletic with a £250,000 offer for the talented midfielder.
And the likes of Ipswich Town, Leicester City and Peterborough United are also rumoured to be tracking Wordsworth.
However, the U’s have confirmed that there has been no formal interest in the former U’s youth-team captain - or any of their players.
Colchester boss Joe Dunne said: “I’ve not had any interest in any of my players.
“I was with Charlton Athletic on Tuesday and they didn’t say anything to me then about Anthony.”
Wordsworth may still be a Colchester player - but he will definitely miss their next two matches in League One.
The 24-year-old will sit out their vital games against Scunthorpe United and Hartlepool United, because of suspension.
