Former Colchester United manager John Ward is back in football at Bristol Rovers.
Ward, 61, who was dismissed as U's boss in September after more than two years in charge at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, has agreed a contract with the Pirates until the end of the season.
Ward returns to the club for a second spell, having managed them between 1993 and 1996 and led them to the division two play-off final at Wembley in 1995, where they lost to Huddersfield.
Rovers currently lie 23rd in League Two, a point away from safety.
