Ray Turner's last-gasp header secured a point for a depleted Stanway Rovers at Lowestoft Town.

The result delighted manager Jimmy McIntyre as he saw his side, who were missing six first-team regulars through injury and personal commitments, come from behind three times to draw 3-3.

"It was a brilliant result for us," he said. "We had six players unavailable and were down to the bare bones.

"Lowestoft were the best team we have played in the league this year and are the current champions so it was difficult anyway and we only had two recognised defenders in the team.

"But we went on the front foot and said we would not sit back.

"It left holes and they picked us off at times, but we were dangerous going forward. With Ray Turner and Marlon North up front, you will always pose a threat."
