Hockey duo Lisa Wooding and Chloe Rogers suffered heartache after England crashed out of the World Cup.
The Chelmsford Hockey Club pair, who live in Great Dunmow, were unable to help their country progress through to the semi-finals.
A spirited final ten minutes saw England snatch a draw against hosts Spain - but the point was not enough to book a place in the last four, which instead went to their opponents.
